LBI Spot Is NJ's Best 24-Hour Restaurant, Report Says

BEACH HAVEN, NJ — The 24-hour diner is one of the things New Jersey is best known for (though these days it's hard to find one that's truly open 24 hours). One Long Beach Island spot, even though it's not an all-day affair in the off-season, was named the best in the state.

Cosmopolitan put together a list of each state's best 24-hour restaurant. And New Jersey's is none other than the Chicken or the Egg - better known as Chegg.

The report only mentions Chegg's breakfast sandwiches and their "Jersey Cakes," pancakes stuffed with pork roll, bacon and sausage.

But regulars love everything on their expansive menu, especially their famous chicken wings, which you can get with any of their 18 sauces.

Chegg is one of the most iconic restaurants at the shore, and there's always a long wait during the busy summer months. That's when the restaurant stays open for 24 hours as well.

Many believe that a trip to LBI isn't compete without a Chegg visit and have felt so for the past 30 years. So next time you stop in, remember - you're eating at one of the best 24-hour spots in the country.
