Little Egg Police Arrest Man After Melee

Highly intoxicated Hammonton man spat, screamed and urinated in victim's home.

LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - Ever have one of those guests who refuses to leave?

That was the case when Little Egg Patrolmen Keith Gould and Jason Way responded to a report of an unwanted guest at a home in the Lighthouse Apartments on Oak Lane at 8:21 p.m. on Feb. 10, according to the police department's Facebook page.

There they found Shawn Pettit, 50, of Hammonton. He was highly intoxicated, combative, irate and was spitting and urinating in the home. He refused to leave the residence even after the police and the victim offered him rides to another location, the report states.
