Long Beach Boulevard Expected to Flood During High Tides
Police ask that you avoid flood waters as much as possible, drive slowly, don't create wakes

LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP, NJ - The worst of the storm is on its way.
Long Beach Township police are warning drivers to expect that Long Beach Boulevard - the main roadway on Long Beach Island - will flood during high tides throughout the Nor'easter, according to a Nixle alert.

"Please avoid flood waters as much as possible," the alert states.. "If unable to avoid...reduce speed as not to create a wake."
High tides in the Beach Haven Crest section of the township will arrive at 10:03 a.m. and 10:33 p.m. on Friday, 10:50 a.m. and 11:20 p.m. on Saturday and 11:37 a.m. on Sunday.
