Long Beach Cops: Call Atlantic City Electric About Outages
Please don't call 911 about power outages, call Atlantic City Electric, police say.

LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP, NJ - Your best bet during a storm-related power outage is to call Atlantic City Electric, not the police department.
Long Beach Township police are asking residents to call the utility company if they lose power during the expected snowstorm.
"With an approaching winter storm, it is not unusual to lose electric power during the storm," according to the police department's Facebook page. "Keep in mind this is also a likely time of heavy call volume to the center. In an effort to reduce calls to our 911 center, we would ask that your report any electrical outages to Atlantic City."
