Manahawkin Man Charged With Possession Of 80 Bags Of Heroin, Stafford Police Say

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - Stafford Township police recently charged a Cedar Bonnet Island man with heroin possession and possession of heroin with intent to distribute, Lt. James R. Vaughn said.

Police responded to a 911 call at 9:50 p.m. on Sept. 1 on a disturbance call at a home on Manning Drive, he said.

After an initial investigation, Sgt. James Haldenwang and Ptl. Russell Dunfee arrested David Rorer, 55. Police found 80 bags of heroin, Vaughn said.

Rorer was charged with possession of heroin, and possession of less than one once of heroin with the intent to distribute. After processing, he was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
