Meth, Guns Stored At Auto Shop In Southern Ocean: Prosecutor
Two sawed-off shotguns, hollow point bullets, methamphetamine and more were discovered at the Little Egg Harbor business, authorities said.
LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ — A Little Egg Harbor man is accused of using a local auto shop to store and distribute drugs, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
James Palmisano, 43, used Island Automotive in Little Egg Harbor to store methamphetamines, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Authorities conducted a search of the business and two trailers on site on Jan. 3, Billhimer said.

Detectives seized two double barreled 12 gauge silver sawed-off shotguns, a .22 caliber single action rifle, a Flintlock pistol, about 19 vials of suspected steroids, a quantity of methamphetamine, hollow point bullets, numerous BB guns and drug paraphernalia indicative of narcotics distribution, Billhimer said.
Also discovered were two suspected explosive devices; the New Jersey Bomb Squad was called and both devices were secured, Billhimer said.

Pamisano was taken into custody at the scene.
He was charged with two counts of possession of weapon for unlawful purpose - specifically destructive devices, being a certain person not to possess a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon without a permit - specifically a handgun, three counts of unlawful possession of a weapon – specifically rifles and shotguns, two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon or device - specifically destructive devices, possession of a prohibited weapon or device - specifically a sawed-off shotgun, possession of a prohibited weapon or device - specifically hollow point ammunition, possession of methamphetamine, possession of steroids, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Palmisano was taken to the Ocean County Jail, where he remains pending trial.
