More Charges For Ex-South Jersey Educator Accused Of Child Sex Assault: Prosecutor
Darnell Williams, who worked at schools in Stafford and Hamilton, is now accused of sexually touching five underage girls.

HAMILTON TWP., NJ — Another round of new charges have been filed against the former South Jersey educator accused of sexually touching children as a fifth victim has been identified, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.
Darnell Williams, 34, was charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child on Oct. 6, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
“We suspected there may be additional victims, and unfortunately we are finding this to be true,” Billhimer said in a news release.

Those charges were served to him in the Atlantic County Justice Facility, where Williams, a Whiting resident, is presently detained on charges of sexually assaulting four other children. Three of those incidents happened in Atlantic County; Williams also was previously accused of sexually assaulting a girl in Manchester, authorities said.
The latest investigation found that Williams sexually touched an underage girl in both Manchester and Stafford between 2020 and 2023, Billhimer said. These dates align with Williams' employment as a Stafford Township School District teacher and the Hamilton Township School District, where he began working as a supervisor of special projects in 2022, according to public records.

Williams was ordered to remain in jail on Oct. 7 on his previous charges; a detention hearing on the newest Manchester and Stafford charges will be scheduled, Billhimer said.
“We suspected there may be additional victims, and unfortunately we are finding this to be true,” Bilhimer said.
