NFL Stars Swing By Lemonade Stand In Stafford

The Dolphins' Mike Gesicki and the Bengals' Clark Harris stopped by a lemonade stand and youth football camp while visiting their hometown.

STAFFORD, NJ — It’s not every day you see an NFL player standing in line at a lemonade stand.

But the Miami Dolphins' tight end Mike Gesicki and the Cincinnati Bengals' long snapper Clark Harris were among the customers who stopped by one in the Cedar Run section of Stafford on Sunday.

The lemonade stand was set up to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and collected over $950 in donations, Stafford police said.

Both formerly of Manahawkin, Gesicki graduated from Southern Regional in 2014 and Harris graduated in 2002.

The alumni were in town over the past week to speak with players at a youth football camp, according to Chuck Donohue Jr., supervisor of athletics at Southern Regional High School.

“Love that these NFL stars take the time to come back to their hometowns to give back and speak life into our kids. Great job by all!” Stafford police said on Facebook.
