NJ's Summer Ice Cream Tour Stops At These Southern Ocean Spots

SOUTHERN OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — There's nothing better on a hot summer day than cooling down with some sweet ice cream. And residents are encouraged to visit several different New Jersey ice cream parlors with the return of the "I Licked My Way Through NJ" ice cream tour, which features these great Southern Ocean spots.

The tour, hosted by New Jersey members of the North American Ice Cream Association, kicks off June 1 and runs through Aug. 18. Here's how it works: stop in at any of the tour locations to pick up a card. Then, visit as many participating stores as possible, ordering ice cream and getting your card stamped in the process.

Locally, both Skipper Dipper (Long Beach Twp.) and Kohr Soft Ice Cream (Little Egg Harbor) are participating, so stop by either to get started.
