No Weapons Found In Home Of Pinelands Student Who Made Threat

Youth was taken for a mental health evaluation after questioning.

LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - Investigators found no weapons in the home of the former Pinelands Regional High School student who made a threatening message earlier this week, township police said on their Facebook page.

The 15-year-old was taken for a mental health screening after he was taken into custody on Thursday morning. The school district received a threatening message through an internal Pinelands Regional messaging system.

Charges are pending after the results of a forensic exam of the youth's seized electronic devices, and the receipt of his “Google Classroom” account information, police said.
