Ocean Township Police Department Beefs Up Patrols

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - You've been warned.

Ocean Township police are stepping up patrols over the holiday weekend to find drunk or impaired drivers.

"According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 61 percent of traffic deaths on New Years Day are caused by drunk drivers, so all weekend we will be conducting saturation patrols looking for motorists who may be driving while impaired. Be careful and enjoy the weekend responsibly," according to a post on the department's Facebook page.
