Permits For Little Egg Harbor's ​Off-Leash Dog Park Now Available

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ — Permits for the off-leash dog park at Freedom Fields County Park in Little Egg Harbor are now available for 2022.

There's an annual fee of $5 per dog. This fee must be paid by check only made out to "County of Ocean" at the time of registration.

Both a dog park permit form and dog park waiver must be filled out to register.

Registration requirements:

• Current township dog license, tags are not acceptable
• Proof of up-to-date vaccinations
• Payment of required fee
• Proof that all male dogs are neutered
• Dogs must be at least 6 months old

Forms can be mailed to Ocean County Parks and Recreation at 1198 Bandon Road in Toms River, or filled out in-person at several locations throughout Ocean County.

In-person registration locations and hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• Ocean County Parks Administration Office (1198 Bandon Rd, Toms River)
• Ocean County Connection (1201 Hooper Ave, Toms River; Ocean County Mall near JC Penny’s)
• Jakes Branch County Park (1100 Double Trouble Rd, Beachwood)
• Wells Mills County Park (905 Wells Mills Rd, Waretown)
• Stanley H. “Tip” Seaman County Park (120 Lakeside Dr, Tuckerton); only Wednesday/Thursday 8:30-3:30 p.m.
