A fire that started in the engine of a Dodge Ram pickup truck spread and caused damage to the side of a home in Stafford, police said.

STAFFORD, NJ — A fire that started in the engine of a Dodge Ram pickup truck spread and caused damage to the side of a home in Stafford, police said.
On Monday at 2:25 p.m., the Stafford Township Police Department responded to a home on Millcreek Road for a report of a vehicle fire.
Authorities found the fire originated in the engine of the homeowner’s Dodge Ram pickup truck. The fire spread and caused damage to the side of the house, police said.

Assisting on scene were the Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company #1, Stafford Township Bureau of Fire Prevention, Ocean County Fire Marshall, and Stafford Township Emergency Medical Services.
