Pilot Uninjured In Single-Engine Plane Crash In Eagleswood

The FAA has already begun an investigation.

A vintage single-engine plane crashed Tuesday night in the Eagleswood woods, according to a report on nj.com.

The 1947 Stinson 108-2 fixed wing aircraft went down in some trees and bushes around 8:30 p.m. near the 100 block of Laurel Hill Lane, State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn said.

The pilot was "O.K.," he said.

Flynn did not have any information regarding damage on the ground, but photos posted to social media show the craft nestled in trees and bushes.

The FAA is investigating.

FAA spokesman lJim Peters, said the crash occurred about a mile from Eagles Nest Airport. The pilot was the sole occupant.
