Pirates And Privateers Festival Coming Up At Tuckerton Seaport
The Valhalla Pirates will teach you all you need to know

TUCKERTON, NJ - Do you know the difference between pirates, privateers and sailors?
No? Well, then come to the Tuckerton Seaport's Pirates Day from noon to 4 p.m. on July 28 and find out.
Captain Black and the crew of the Valhalla Pirates will teach you all you want to know about the "Golden Age of Piracy," from the years 1670 through 1730.

Learn how pirates dressed, how they spoke, what weapons they used, how they lived and their impact on history.
"We feel that realistically portraying Pirates and Sailors who can physically "interact" with the public is a very effective way of teaching," their website states.

The event will also feature make and take crafts and a treasure hunt.
Admission is $9 adults, $6 for seniors, $5 for kids 5-12, free for kids under 5 and for Seaport members.
The Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum is located at 120 West Main Street in Tuckerton, NJ.
