Popular Ice Cream Parlor Announces Closure In Manahawkin

The beloved shop will close permanently next month after 11 years in business.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A popular Manahawkin ice cream parlor is set to close its doors permanently.

The Ice Cream Shop of Manahawkin recently announced that after 11 years in business, July 8 would be their last day.

"This journey has been nothing short of magical — from first cones to birthday parties, date nights to summer traditions, we've cherished every memory made here," the shop's owners wrote on social media. "None of it would've been possible without you — our loyal customers, dedicated team, and supportive community."

The announcement was met with an outpouring of love and sadness from frequent customers who are mourning the loss of their beloved shop.

It became popular for its unique flavors, like Dunkaroos, and its allergy-friendly options.

It's not clear what will replace the shop.

"Thank you for letting us be part of your lives. We are forever grateful for the laughter, the stories, and the love you’ve shown us over the years," the owners said. "Our final day of service will be Tuesday July 8th, 2025. Come by, grab your favorite scoop, and let’s make one more memory together. Be sure to use whatever gift cards you have when you stop in!"
