Primary Election 2025: What To Know In Barnegat-Manahawkin
Voters head to the polls June 10 for New Jersey's primary.

BARNEGAT, NJ — New Jerseyans will head to the polls on Tuesday, June 10 to cast their vote in the 2025 Primary Election.
This fall, residents will be electing a new governor. Barnegat also has a municipal election; one township committee seat is open. Stafford has no municipal elections this year.
In Ocean County, two Board of Commissioners seats are open. Residents will also elect one county clerk and one sheriff.

Who's On The Ballot
- Governor: Seeking the Republican nomination are Mario M. Kranjac, Jack Ciattarelli, Justin Barbera, Jon Bramnick and Bill Spadea. Seeking the Democratic nomination are Sean Spiller, Ras Baraka, Mikie Sherrill, Josh Gottheimer, Steve Sweeney and Steven Fulop.
- NJ State Assembly (9th District): Seeking the Republican nomination are incumbents Greg Myhre and Brian Rumpf. Seeking the Democratic nomination are Lisa Bennett, Donald Campbell and Rosalee Keech.
- Board of Commissioners: Two seats are open. Ray Gormley and Sam Ellenbogen seek the Republican nomination. Running as Democrats are Arthur Halloran and Brandon A. Rose.
- Ocean County Clerk: Vote one. Rory Wells and John P. "Jack" Kelly seek the Republican nomination. Samuel Pinkava seeks the Democratic nomination.
- Ocean County Sheriff: Vote one. Incumbent Michael Mastronardy seeks the Republican nomination. Jeff Horn seeks the Democratic nomination.
- Barnegat Township Committee: One seat is open. Frederic Rubenstein seeks the Republican nomination. No one has filed to run as a Democrat in the primary.
