Privateers And Pirates Heading To Tuckerton Seaport On Saturday For Annual Festival
The sixth annual festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Seaport on West Main Street.

Then come to the Tuckerton Seaport on Saturday, for the 6th annual Privateers & Pirates Festival and meet Captain Black and the crew of the Valhalla.
The mission of the Valhalla crew is to give educate the public on the Golden Age of Piracy, including manner of dress, speech, skills, weapons, tools and ship's crew organization during the years from 1670 to 1730, according to the group's website.

Think of the event as "living history," and learn how pirates lived. Be prepared for some interaction with Capt. Black and the crew.
Some of the highlights planned for Saturday include a pirate ship obstacle course, pirate photo booth, and a treasure hunt.

General admission is $9 for adults, $6 for seniors (age 62+), $5 for children ages 5-12. Children under five are free, as well as Seaport members.
