Rescued Dogs From Puerto Rico Arrive At Burlington County Animal Shelter
The shelter is waiving all adoption fees for dogs who have been in the Burlington shelter for more than three months
Twenty-three dogs rescued rescued from hard-hit Puerto Rico are now resting comfortably at the Burlington County Animal Shelter, where hopefully they will be available for adoption soon.
In the meantime, to make more room for the new guests, the shelter is waiving adoption fees for any dog that has been at Burlington for three months or longer.
The dogs from Puerto Rico must be cleared medically before they are available for adoption, according to the Friends of the Burlington Animal Shelter's Facebook page.
