See Who's Running For Barnegat-Manahawkin School Boards: Election 2025

BARNEGAT-MANAHAWKIN, NJ — July 28 was the deadline to file for candidacy in the 2025 school elections, and seats are open in the Barnegat Township, Stafford Township and Southern Regional school boards.

The election is held Nov. 4, 2025.

Barnegat has four candidates vying for three open seats. Stafford has five seeking three open seats. Southern Regional has two seeking one seat from Stafford and two seeking two seats from Long Beach Island.

School elections are nonpartisan, though candidates may run under a slogan.

Here's who filed to run, according to the Ocean County Clerk's Office. Asterisk denotes incumbent.
