The 2017 event is the first continent-wide eclipse to be visible only from the US since 1776. It is also the first time the path of totality exclusively crosses the continental United Statesfrom coast to coast since June 8, 1918.
While the total eclipse will be seen only from select locations across the country, the partial eclipse will be visible in every state. In the Ocean County area, between 70 to 75 percent of the sun will be covered by the moon.
Sinor is asking anyone who views the eclipse to publish photos on the realty company's Facebook page.
