Southern Regional Alum Mike Gesicki Signed To Bengals
The Ram legend and free agent tight end has signed a one-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a report.
CINCINNATI, OH — Southern Regional Ram legend and free agent tight end Mike Gesicki is joining the Cincinnati Bengals, a source told ESPN.
Gesicki, 28, reportedly signed a one-year contract with the Bengals worth up to $3.25 million. 2024 will be his seventh season with the NFL.
The Manahawkin native set records as a student athlete at Southern Regional High School, before attending and playing college football at Penn State. There, he set the record for most receptions by a tight end.

He spent 2023 playing for the New England Patriots after five years on the Miami Dolphins.
In post on X, formerly Twitter, the Bengals acknowledged Gesicki's signing by referencing his infamous "Griddy" touchdown celebrations, jokingly asking wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase if he was available for lessons.
