Stafford Police Looking For Owner Of Cell Phone

LG Android phone was found on Lighthouse Drive in Ocean Acres

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - Stafford police are looking for the owner of an LG Android cell phone found on Lighthouse Drive in Ocean Acres that was turned into police today.

Here's the amusing message posted on the police department's Facebook page:

"Are you known to absentmindedly leave items like cups of coffee (and cell phones) on your car roof after fumbling with your keys to get into your car?" the post states. "Yes, we all know those types of folks (writer of this post included!). No you say? Ok, well do you know where your cell phone is? If not, does it look like the phone in these photos?"

Police are unable to access any information from the phone without the passcode.

"We are simply just trying to find the owner of it," the post statess.
