Stafford Police Say Chase Bank Robbery Suspect Still At Large
Lollipop-sucking suspect robbed the Chase Bank at 4 :15 p.m. on Jan. 18, police say
STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - Stafford police are hoping that someone will be able to identify a man caught on surveillance cameras who is wanted for robbing the Chase Bank on Martin Truex Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.
The lollipop-sucking suspect left on foot after the 4:15 p.m. incident and no vehicle was seen. He did not display a weapon, Lt. James R. Vaughn said.
"Not the greatest photos, we know, and he concealed himself pretty well," the post on the Stafford Township police department Facebook page says.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6'0 tall, weighing approximately 225 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt with a dark zipper, dark sunglasses, light-colored jeans and dark shoes.
"Also, it is apparent, the subject had a lollipop in his mouth," Vaughn said. "He handed the teller a handwritten note, and she turned the turned the monies over to him. The amount of money taken is currently undetermined."

He fled the area on foot south from the CHASE Bank toward the Aldi Food Store and BJs. The Stafford Township Police Department's K9 unit and patrol officers searched the surrounding area, but were unable to locate the suspect, he said.
