Stafford To Review Proposal For Police Shooting Range

A workshop on July 29 will review a proposal for a police shooting range in a lot between the Fourmile Branch stream and Saint Mary Avenue.

STAFFORD, NJ — Stafford council is holding a workshop on Thursday, July 29 to review proposed plans for a police shooting range.

The range would be located in Lot 6.01 of Block 51 between the Fourmile Branch stream and Saint Mary Avenue, north of Old Manahawkin Cedar Bridge Road (see map below).

Council will review the background on the shooting range, locations that have been considered and the township's need for it.

The workshop will be held in the auditorium of the 9-10 Building at the Southern Regional High School at 600 N. Main St in Manahawkin.

A question and answer session for residents will be held after the presentation.
