State Police Traffic Stop Leads To DWI, Gun Charge On GSP

LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - New Jersey State Police who arrested a man for drunk driving at milepost 56.9 on the Garden State Parkway recently also found him with a handgun, according to the State Police Facebook page.
Police stopped Kevin Vick, 26, Egg Harbor Township at 9:28 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, for a traffic violation on the northbound side of the roadway. They determined he was intoxicated and then discovered he had a a .38 caliber revolver and marijuana in his possession, the page states.
Vick was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, certain persons not to possess a weapon, possession of marijuana, criminal under the influence, and driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court appearance.
