Barnegat Township Citizens Police Academy Starts In September

BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP, NJ – What's it like to be a Barnegat police officer?

You can find out if you apply and are accepted to the Barnegat Township Citizen’s Police Academy coming up in September and running through the fall.

"The Academy is not designed to certify and train community members as law enforcement officers, but rather to allow the community to better understand the function of the police department," according to the department's Facebook page.
