Woman Airlifted After Falling From Home Balcony: Barnegat PD
A 39-year-old woman was medevaced from Elizabeth V. Edwards School on Saturday night after falling from a home balcony in Barnegat.
BARNEGAT, NJ — A woman was medevaced from Elizabeth V. Edwards school on Saturday night after falling from a balcony in Barnegat.
The 39-year-old woman fell approximately ten feet from a home balcony on Bayshore Drive around 11:30 p.m., Captain Jason Carroll said Wednesday.
The woman was alert and conscious when police arrived but reported having back and leg pain, Carroll said.

Due to the height of the fall and out of an abundance of caution, the woman was flown via medevac from the Elizabeth V. Edwards school field to Jersey Shore Trauma Center, Carroll said.
