3 Police Officers Promoted In Bernards Township
Lieutenant Chris Baxter, Sergeant Phil Jasina, and Corporal Dominick Aboosamara were sworn into their new positions last week.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Three police officers were promoted in Bernards Township.
Lieutenant Chris Baxter, Sergeant Phil Jasina, and Corporal Dominick Aboosamara were sworn into their new positions on June 24.
"We wish them a big congratulations and the best in their new positions!" wrote Bernards Township Police Department.

Baxter, who has more than 16 years of service, was appointed to the position of full-time Lieutenant, with a promotion date of July 1, at an annual salary of $167,462.28.
Jasina, who has more than 16 years of service, was appointed to full-time Sergeant with a promotion date of July 1, at an annual salary of $144,723.85.

Aboosamara, who has 7 years of service with Bernards Township and four years elsewhere, was appointed to full-time Corporal with a promotion date of July 1, at an annual salary of $138,090.79.
"All of these officers have more than 10 years of service in the Bernards Township Police Department," said Committeewoman Ana Duarte McCarthy. "And we’re very excited to support them in their new leadership roles."
