• Firefighter Injured Battling Barn Fire In Peapack (patch.com) — A serious barn fire in Peapack drew a large emergency response that included Basking Ridge Fire Co. No. 1 and EMS, along with multiple neighboring volunteer departments. Crews worked together to bring the blaze under control, and one firefighter suffered a minor injury and was taken to Morristown Hospital. Authorities say the cause is still under investigation but currently appears non-suspicious.
