Basking Ridge School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The first day of school in Basking Ridge is September 6 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Basking Ridge School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/6: First Day of School
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/3: Half Day (In-Service Day)

November

• 11/7: Half Day (In-Service Day)
• 11/8 - 11/9: No School (NJEA Convention)
• 11/21: Half Day
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/21: Half Day
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/19: No School (Winter Break)

March

• 3/6: Half Day (In-Service Day)

April

• 4/8 - 4/12: No School (Spring Recess)
• 4/19: No School (Good Friday)

May

• 5/24: No School (In-Service Day)
• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/19: William Annin Middle School Graduation
• 6/19: Half Day (Grades K-12)
• 6/20: Ridge High School Graduation
• 6/20: Last Day of School/Half Day (Grades K-12)
