Bernards Twp. Committee Candidates To Go Head-To-Head In General Election This November
Now that primary has come and gone, voters can look ahead to a contested race this coming November for the Bernards Township Committee.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Now that the primary has come and gone, voters can look ahead to a contested race this coming November for the Bernards Township Committee.
The Committee races for Republicans and Democrats were both uncontested in the primary election. Now the candidates will go head-to-head for the two open seats on the Committee in the contested general election.
Republican incumbent David Tancredi will face off against Democrat newcomer Brett Hodges for one full-term seat on the Committee.

Additionally, Republican newcomer Bill McMahon will face off against Democrat newcomer John Tompkins for one unexpired term seat on the Committee.

Somerset County Surrogate:
- Bernice "Tina" Jalloh - Democrat*
- John L. Sweeney - Republican
New Jersey Legislative District 21 House of Representatives:
- Nancy Munoz - Republican*
- Michele Matsikoudis - Republican*
- Vincent Kearney - Democrat
- Andrew Macurdy - Democrat
The New Jersey general election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
