Bernards Township Police Taking Back Unwanted Prescription Drugs

The event is inspired by National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township Police is accepting unwanted prescription drugs from community members as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 25.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents can dispose of unused and expired medications safely and properly by dropping them off at the drop box in the lobby of the Bernards Township Police headquarters at 1 Collyer Lane.

Items such as syringes, liquids and illegal drugs will not be accepted.

Along with Bernards Township, police departments in Bedminster, Peapack/ Gladstone, and Far Hills will have permanent drop boxes in the lobby of Police Headquarters.
