Calling All Promising Young Artists Grades K-12th Grade

The Lucia Bocchino Fund for Promising Young Artists Launches 17th Annual International Call for Young Artists

The Lucia Bocchino Fund for Promising Young Artists is proud to announce its 17th Annual Young Artist Call, inviting students from kindergarten through 12th grade across the globe to participate in this inspiring virtual exhibition.

Young artists are encouraged to create a picture, painting, collage, or mixed-media artwork that pays tribute to a woman in their life who inspires them—whether it’s a mother, grandmother, teacher, mentor, sister, or friend. The theme, “She Inspires Me,” offers young creators the opportunity to reflect on the women who have impacted them most and express that connection through art.

This international call has welcomed submissions from young artists around the world, celebrating creativity, diversity, and the shared experience of inspiration. The Lucia Bocchino Fund continues its mission to support and spotlight promising young talent while honoring the legacy of Lucia Bocchino, an advocate for the arts and youth expression.

The culminating moment of this global initiative is a live Instagram celebration on Mother's Day at noon EST, where every submitted artwork will be featured. It’s a joyful and moving tribute to the power of women and the creativity of young minds.
