This Election Is About Bernards Township — Not Politics

Having served on the Bernards Township Committee since January 2022 —as Deputy Mayor in 2023 and Mayor in 2024, I’ve seen firsthand what strong, steady leadership accomplishes when we stay focused on what truly matters: our local community.

This election is about Bernards Township, not state or national politics. Our Township Committee deals with local issues — public safety, infrastructure – including roads, economic development, local zoning, recreation: services that directly impact our daily lives. It’s important that we elect leaders who share that focus and commitment.

This is why I endorse David Tancredi and Bill McMahon for Bernards Township Committee.

David and Bill bring the experience and community leadership that Bernards needs right now. Both have deep business backgrounds that equip them to make thoughtful, financially responsible decisions. They understand budget management, support local businesses, and will attract the types of businesses our residents want — helping to lessen the property tax burden on homeowners by strengthening our commercial tax base.

Equally important, David and Bill are deeply engaged in our community — currently volunteering as leaders (David - a Township Committeeman and Bill - President of the Hills Highland Master Association), listening to residents, and working collaboratively to find solutions. They recognize that progress happens when we work together, not when we’re distracted by partisan politics or outside agendas.

With their business expertise, community focus, and practical approach to problem-solving, Tancredi and McMahon are the right choice to continue moving Bernards Township forward.
