Health Department Hosting Annual Screening for Disease Early Detection
The Bernards Township Health Department is holding annual health screening in Basking Ridge next month.

The Bernards Township Health Department is holding its Annual Health Screening for prevention and early disease detection in Basking Ridge next month.
The cost for the clinics is $30 for residents and $40 for non-residents. The screening will take place on Thursday, May 7, and Friday, May 8, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the St. James Church, 184 South Finley Ave.
“Early detection of disease allows people the best treatment options and saves lives,” Health Officer Lucy Forgione said in a release from the department.

According to the township, the Annual Health Screening is held to identify conditions such as diabetes, gout, kidney disease, liver disease, cholesterol levels, anemia, leukemia, severe infections and hypertension.
In-person pre-registration is required at the Bernards Township Health Department, 262 South Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday starting Monday, April 20.
