Light Up Somerset County with Chabad: Chanukah Events For 2024

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Chabad of Somerset County invites the community to join them for a Chanukah celebration this December. They have a vibrant calendar of events planned to illuminate the community with light, laughter, and the true spirit of the holiday.

Chanukah Chinese Dinner (Dec. 25 at 5:30 p.m.): The dinner will be held at the Chabad of Somerset County at 3048 Valley Road in Basking Ridge. The event includes a menorah lighting, koser Chinese dinner, hot latkas, donuts, games, crafts. Before Dec. 22 tickets are $15 for child and $25 for adults. After Dec. 22 tickets are $18 for child and $30 for adults.

Chanukah Gelt Drop & Menorah Lighting (Dec. 26 at 5:30 p.m.): Come together as a community in the streets of Bernards Township to light our giant outdoor Menorah together with community leadership .Watch in delight as gelt (chocolate coins) rains from fire trucks, lighting up the night with fun for the whole family.

The 2nd Annual Menorah Car Parade (Dec. 30 at 6 p.m.): The parade includes a joyful procession of vehicles adorned with beautifully lit menorahs. Participants from diverse backgrounds will come together to share the spirit of Chanukah, spreading light and joy throughout Somerset County.
