OptumCare Could Lay Off 160 Workers In Basking Ridge

OptumCare, which has a headquarters in Basking Ridge, could cut 160 employees from December to January, a WARN notice says.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — OptumCare could lay off 160 employees at the end of this year, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) advisory on the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development website.

OptumCare, which has a headquarters in Basking Ridge, could lay off the workers from Dec. 11 to Jan. 22, 2025, according to the notice.

WARN notices offer protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notice 60 days in advance of plant closings and mass layoffs.
