The Somerset County Park Commission Lord Stirling Stable will welcome children and adults of all ages on Sunday, August 16, 2015 to celebrate Rebel the Pony’s Special Event, a summer party hosted by Lord Stirling Stable’s friendliest 4-legged character. The party will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 256 South Maple Avenue in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
Rebel’s pony friends will be on hand to give Lead Line rides to children up to 12 years old who are able to sit and hold onto the saddle unassisted. The first pony ride is free.

Admission, light refreshments, and parking are free. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a free hayride along the equestrian trails. Rebel just asks visitors who are able to please bring along a non-perishable food or personal care item for donation to Somerset County food banks. He will provide a chuck wagon to collect the much-needed supplies.
Although Rebel loves to be petted and spoiled, he does try to think of others. He knows he is one lucky pony and is willing to share the spotlight on his special day to give back to his community. He hopes everyone will come to his party!
