Senior Parent Night at Ridge — Help With College Application Process

One of the major challenges of high school — applying to colleges — to be addressed at Thursday session for Ridge parents.

Navigating the college application process has become one of the most stressful aspects of the last year or so of high school, and parents of Ridge High School seniors are invited to a forum on Thursday to help provide some guidelines on the road to college.

This year's "Senior Parent Night" is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Performing Arts Center at the high school, located at 268 S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge.

The school's counseling department will be explaining the "nuts and bolts" of the college application process to senior parents at the session.

The information will be given out much as it had been done last week for the 12th graders during an assembly, according to the school's guidance deepartment. Parents who wish to know more about the process should plan to attend.
