According to the Congressman's U.S. House webpage, Malinowski has secured nearly $9 million in this year's government funding bill to support ten community projects in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Union, and Warren Counties in New Jersey's 7th Congressional District.

The U.S. House Fiscal Year 2022 spending package includes all ten Community Project Funding requests made by Malinowski. President Joe Biden signed the Fiscal Year 2022 government funding bill into law on March 16.

Warren County Community College Agriculture Education and Training Program is slated to receive $750,000 to establish an Agriculture Education and Training Program that will support a vibrant and growing component of the economy in Warren County and the region, a news release said.

"For years, New Jersey has been getting less back from the federal government than we send to Washington in taxes, and we are finally beginning to reverse that," said Malinowski. He explained the funding will fix old water and sewer systems, support police departments, improve local parks and pedestrian walkways, and create educational programs that support New Jersey's rural economy.

"I'll be working closely with our municipal and county leaders to ensure they can start breaking ground on these projects as quickly as possible,” Malinowski added.

Malinowski was born in Communist Poland during the height of the Cold War. When he was 6, he and his mother fled to the United States and he grew up in Central Jersey, according to the Congressman's government information page.
