Uniting for Autism Greater Somerset County YMCA & The Uncommon Thread
YMCA and TUT partner to provide supportive, inclusive programming for children with autism and their families.

Greater Somerset County YMCA is proud to highlight its partnership with The Uncommon Thread (TUT), a collaboration that is expanding access to supportive, inclusive programming for children with autism and their families.
This growing partnership represents a shared commitment to creating environments where all children can thrive. For generations, the Y has been dedicated to helping young people build confidence, develop new skills, and form meaningful connections. Now, with the expertise of The Uncommon Thread, that mission reaches even further—offering children the opportunity to participate in YMCA toddler and preschool programs while receiving individualized ABA therapy in a familiar, engaging setting.
“At the YMCA, we are committed to helping all youth develop values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and academic success,” said David M. Carcieri, President & CEO of Greater Somerset County YMCA. “Our partnership with The Uncommon Thread strengthens that commitment.”
