Where To Find A Christmas Tree Around Basking Ridge: 2025 Guide

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Christmas is quickly approaching, and for those looking for a live tree to decorate, there are plenty of options in and around the Basking Ridge area.

Shoppers have the option to choose between a cut-your-own tree or a pre-cut tree.

Choose-and-cut:

• Country Christmas Weekends at Alstede Farms, 1 Alstede Farms Lane, Chester. Cut Your Own Trees, Tractor-Drawn Wagon Rides, Seasonal Food & Drinks, Festive Photo Ops, Pre-Cut Tree & Holiday Decor Marketplace, and Cozy Farm Store Finds. Select weekends in November and December.
• Shadow Hill Farm, 213 Grandview Rd, Skillman, will begin Saturday, Nov. 29(limited hours on the 29 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Regular hours, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., will begin on Sunday, Nov. 30 and continue Saturdays and Sundays only in December.
• Evergreen Valley Christmas Tree Farm LLC, 77 Jackson Valley Road, Washington. Opening day is Friday, Nov. 28 at 9 a.m. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Perfect Christmas Tree Farm, 999 US Highway 22, Phillipsburg. The 2025 season begins on Nov. 22 and continues every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,including Black Friday, Nov. 28.
• Wolgast Tree Farm and Apiary, 176 Bennetts Lane, Somerset, Saturday, Nov. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 30, and the following weekend, Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 pm.

Seasonal pre-cut lot:

• Bishop Janes United Methodist Church, 22 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge - This will be our 74th consecutive year of providing trees to the local community. It is our primary source of support for missions with approximately half going towards local charities and the other half supporting national and international initiatives through the Methodist Church global organization. Sales begin on Nov. 29 at noon.
• Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company, 24 Old York Road, Bridgewater. Starting Saturday, Nov. 22 from noon to 8 p.m. All proceeds benefit the fire company.
• Carriage Farm, 2 Clerico Lane, Hillsborough - 5th Annual Flounder’s Kringle Market, presented in part by Visit Somerset. Carriage Farm transforms into Central Jersey’s premier holiday market with 45+ hand-picked crafters, food vendors, and roasted nuts, all surrounding the Central Jersey Nurseries Christmas tree lot with trees and wreaths for sale. Saturday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 20 and Sunday, Dec. 21.
• Home Depot, 1515 Route 22, Watchung
• Home Depot, 400 Promenade Blvd., Bridgewater
• Chatham Jaycee's Christmas Tree Lot, Main Street & Brooklake Ave., Chatham
