Basking Ridge General Election Day 2025: Where To Vote, Who's Running

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The general election is Tuesday. Get to know each of the candidates running for Bernards Township Committee and Board of Education before hitting the polls and casting your vote.

Who is on the ballot?

Here's who filed to run (*indicates incumbent):

Bernards Township Committee:

• A.W. 'Bill' McMahon - Republican
• David E. Tancredi - Republican*
• Brett Hodges - Democrat
• John P. Tompkins - Democrat

Bernards Township Board of Education:

School board elections are nonpartisan. But candidates can choose a slogan to appear with their name on the ballot.

Secure Ballot Drop Box

Boxes will be available for ballot drop off 24 hours daily from Sept. 19 until 8 p.m, Election Night Nov. 4. Be aware that these boxes will be under video surveillance at all times.
