Two weather-related car crashes were recently reported in Nutley, police say – here's where they happened.

NUTLEY, NJ — Two weather-related car crashes were recently reported in Nutley, police say.

The Nutley Police Department released the following details about the crashes:

Dec. 14 (Colonial Terrace) – “Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Vreeland Avenue and Colonial Terrace. A driver attempted to make a left turn onto Colonial Terrace when their vehicle slid into the street sign due to the heavy snow. The driver was not injured at the time of the crash and did not request medical attention.”

Dec. 19 (Route 21 North) – “A driver traveling on Rt. 21 north, south of exit, reported lost control of their vehicle due to the wet weather conditions. After losing control, the driver swerved and crashed head on into the guard rail on the shoulder. The driver did not need medical attention and received a courtesy transport from the scene of the crash.”
