The festival will "celebrate the vibrant cultures of Latin America through dance, music and art."

BELLEVILLE, NJ — A Hispanic Heritage Festival will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Belleville High School, 100 Passaic Avenue.

Here’s what to expect, organizers said:

“Belleville's First Hispanic Heritage Festival, Rhythm & Roots, celebrating the vibrant cultures of Latin America through dance, music, and art! From Mariachi and Salsa to Flamenco and Folkloric Dance the community came together for live performances, student art displays, complimentary hair braiding, and more. When Salsa Night got rained out, we came back bigger and prouder than ever. Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs to watch all the performances. We will also have food and music.”
