Local Justice: Decisions in the Belleville Municipal Court

In State v. Anna Diaz, of East Orange, the State charged defendant with shoplifting from Pathmark on May 13th.  Defendant pleaded guilty to the charge.  The Court imposed fines and costs totaling $557.

In State v. Stephanie Sandora, of Bloomfield, the State charged defendant with possession of drug paraphernalia on February 12th.  Defendant pleaded guilty to the charge.  The Court sentenced defendant to a 1 year term of probation and imposed fines and costs totaling $957.
