Nutley Police Report Another Car Damaged by Rocks

Nutley police said a resident reported that a car was damaged by rocks thrown from the railroad tracks on Maple Place. The victim stated that the front windshield was cracked and that the rocks damaged the car’s hood and roof.
Police said there was no one seen throwing rocks and that the damage’s cost is uncertain.
Earlier in the month, Nutley police said they received several reports last week of rocks thrown at passing cars in the area of Kingsland Street.

In those reports, police say a witness reported seeing two males throwing rocks near Kenzel Avenue and Kingsland Street on Feb. 4. About an hour later, a motorist traveling on Kingsland told police someone threw a rock at the vehicle’s windshield, cracking it.
