Photo: Roche Building Readied for Demolition

A building on the Nutley side of the soon-to-be vacant Roche corporate campus has been covered with a green mesh material in preparation for demolition according to a  according to a NorthJersey.com report Tuesday.

The website reported that the demolition of the building is the first major step in the closing of the Nutley/Clifton campus announced last summer by the healthcare company. 

When they announced they were closing the Kingsland Road facility, Roche, Nutley's largest employer and tax revenue source, said they would cease operations at the end of 2013 and sell the site by the end of 2015.
