Aqua Water Crews Were Back In Sylvan Lakes On Thursday
Water main break problems persisted for second day

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Much to the chagrin of some Sylvan Lakes residents, Aqua NJ crews had to come back to the area on Thursday to make more repairs to a water main break.
The company estimated that repairs should have been completed by 3 p.m., but some residents on social media pages were upset that they still had no water at times.
Aqua crews were also on the scene by noon on Wednesday, with an estimated repair completion of 4 p.m.

Spokesperson Alissa Vanim said customers in the area of the break might experience periods without water, discolored water or low pressure.
Customers who experienced discolored water after the repairs were advised to run the cold water for several minutes until it turned clear, Vanim said.
